Leg Extensions

Not mentioned in the video, but you’ll hear me say it early and often: use your muscles to move the load, not momentum(!). Control the motion from top to bottom and back, including, particularly, the transitions. Don’t just start kicking the weight and slamming it home to the top and bouncing off the bottom in order to get the weight from point a to point b. I often say to give the transition just long enough of a pause to mentally say to yourself “pause.” Then continue on to the eccentric or concentric portion of the lift.
