Tempo Squats

I mentioned enumerating a tempo squat in the video. Normally that’s done with a series of 4 numbers. In the case of logging the 4 second eccentric tempo squat in the video with a little pause on the bottom it would look like this:

4-1-0-1

The first 4 is the eccentric (or negative) portion

The first 1 is the pause at the bottom

The 0 is the concentric portion (since there was no intentional count)

The last 1 is the pause at the top between reps
